Who I Am
________

For 31 years, I owned and operated RK’s Surf Shop at the Oceanfront, where I learned firsthand the importance of hard work, responsible management, and serving our community. Today, I am self-employed, primarily working in residential construction, and I hold an OSHA certification. My wife retired in 2019 after dedicating 38 years to teaching.

For the past 26 years, I have been actively involved in local government and community issues. When I see the city get something wrong, I don't hesitate to ask questions, demand answers, and work to get it corrected. I believe our citizens deserve a government that is accountable, open, and responsive to the people it serves.

I will bring that same determination to public service and govern with four principles at the forefront: transparency, tenacity, truth, and trust.
